The Johnson Matthey Group Environmental, Health & safety (EHS) Management System is applied worldwide and sets standards of performance which are beyond legal requirements. EHS is managed at local level at each of our facilities around the world and is aligned to the key objectives as set out in the Group EHS standard:

• That all locations meet legal and Group EHS requirements
• That the design, manufacture and supply of products is undertaken so as to satisfy the highest standards of EHS protection and resource efficiency
• That management systems are effective in maintaining standards and fulfilling the challenge of securing continual improvement in EHS performance

Progress against our objectives is monitored by regular audits.
