Because safety is also driving force to progress, Johnson Matthey invests a great deal of energy into its Safety in action programme. AIRSWEB™ (our on-line accident and incident reporting system) allows each facility to record details of first aid injuries, lost time injuries, occupational illness, non-injury incidents and dangerous occurrences, environmental incidents and examples of proactive safety. The details include information on the incident, investigation reports, causes, potential severity and tracking of actions. The system enables real time reporting of facility statistics, trend analysis and aids the preparation of Group, Division and facility reports.
